Juror Reporting Instructions for Petit (Trial) Jurors

A Juror Identification Number (ID #) has been assigned to identify you.
Your ID # is located on the face of your summons.

Please fill out the back of the summons in its entirety and bring it and your parking pass with you.

Prior Service:
If you have served on either Federal or City Court within the past four years, please bring proof of service.

Attire:
Proper dress attire is required (no shorts, tank tops or halters, etc.)


Inclement Weather:
In case of inclement weather, listen to your local radio stations WFAS, WHUD or WVOX or call (914) 824-5600 after 7:00 a.m. for any cancellation or court delays.

City, Town and Village Courts:
Jurors summoned to City, Town or Village Courts must contact that court for reporting instructions.


Security Measures prohibit the following in the Courthouse and facilities:
Firearms, Knives, Scissors, Pepper Spray, and all devices with the
ability to record audio, still images, or video.

Court Officers will confiscate them. They must be vouchered until
the conclusion of the owner's court business.




The following messages are for those jurors summoned for jury service during the week of February 6, 2012. There will be different messages each evening. Please read the messages carefully and follow the instructions accordingly.

You may also call the recorded message (phone numbers are listed below) anytime after 6:00 p.m. of the last workday before you are to appear and listen for your ID #. For example, if you are to report on Monday, call Friday evening after 6:00 p.m. or anytime over the weekend. Your service starts the day you report to the courthouse as instructed and may last from one day to two weeks or more. Please listen to the entire message and proceed as directed.

Jurors on Panel B, not presently on cases, ID #'s 0251 - 0700 are DISMISSED. You are no longer required to call in, nor report to jury duty.
