- Appointed to the Third Department effective July 31, 2002.
- Graduated from
Iona College and Cornell Law School.
- After his admission to practice in 1970, engaged in the private practice of law in Monticello, Sullivan County, until 1985.
- From 1976 through 1984, also served as the Town Attorney for the Town of Forestburgh, after which he was elected to the office of Sullivan County Family Court Judge.
- Elected as Sullivan County Judge and Surrogate in 1992.
- Elected to the Supreme Court in 1995 and was the resident Supreme Court Justice in Sullivan County from
January 1996 to the date of his appointment to the Appellate Division.
