Judge John P. Collins

Judge CollinsJohn P. Collins, Administrative Judge of Bronx Supreme Court, Criminal Division was born in Manhattan in 1939. He was first appointed to the New York City Criminal Court in 1978 and to the Supreme Court in 1982.

B.S., Fordham University, (1960); J.D., New York University School of Law, (1963). Judge Collins served as an assistant district attorney in New York County from 1963 to 1970 and from 1975 to 1978. From 1970 to 1975, he served as law secretary to Supreme Court Justice Joseph A. Sarafite.
