Ronald Younkins has served as the Office of Court Administration’s Chief of Operations since 2004. He joined OCA in 1996, where he has held a number of positions before being appointed to his present position.

Mr. Younkins graduated from Nyack College, then received an M.A. from Columbia University, and a law degree from Rutgers University School of Law, where he was Articles Editor of the Law Review. After graduating from law school in 1979, he practiced in the area of labor law with the firm of Poletti Freidin Prashker Feldman and Gartner in New York City. He later taught at New York University School of Law, and then entered the public sector, first with the Office of the Corporation Counsel of the City of New York, and then with the New York State Attorney General.

Mr. Younkins' professional activities include membership in the Association of the Bar of the City of New York Committee on Uniform State Law and the Council on Judicial Administration. Mr. Younkins also has been an adjunct professor at Fordham University School of Law since 1993. He lives in Westchester County with his wife and two daughters.
