Conferences and Motions
Preliminary Conferences
The parties must provide the Court and opposing counsel with a copy of :

A statement of the net worth

All paycheck stubs of current year and the last paycheck stub for preceding year

All W-2 wage statements, 1099 forms, and K-1 forms for the past three years

All filed state and federal income tax returns for the previous three years including partnership and corporate returns including all schedules

All statements of life and casualty insurance, and any deferred compensation plan or account in which the party has an interest including but not limited to 401K, 403B, or 457 plans, IRA, pension, profit sharing, stock option, Keogh, annuity or other retirement plans.
These papers must be exchanged between the parties and filed with the court no later than 10 days before the Preliminary Conference unless the Court directs otherwise. Before the call of the PC calendar, counsel for the litigants will begin completing the PC order form which is available from the Clerk of the Part.
Failure to appear on time in any action may result in costs or sanctions being imposed against the defaulting party.
Compliance Conferences
Counsel attending shall be fully familiar with the case. Counsel attending must have the authority to settle or dispose of the action.
Motions
Motions and opposing papers shall be submitted in the Matrimonial Clerk’s Office in Jamaica. Submitted papers should include a courtesy copy for the Q-IDV Court. All motion practice shall conform to the Uniform Rules of Court and the CPLR.
