To Obtain a Census Search by Mail

A search will have to be conducted. The fee for a search and a certificate recording the result of the search, called a "Find on File" or "Fail to Find" certificate, is $10.00. In your request, you will need to have the address, election and assembly districts. All fees are payable by money order, certified check or NYS attorney's check. No personal checks will be accepted. To Obtain a Census in Person

Census is located in room 122A in the Supreme Court building at 360 Adams Street. The hours of operation are from 9:00am to 5:00pm, closed from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. You will need to know the address, election and assembly districts. If you desire a certificate, the fee is $10.00, payable by cash, money order, certified check or NYS attorney's check. No personal checks will be accepted.
