Supreme Court - 2nd JD, Richmond County
The True Administration Of Justice Is The Firmest Pillar Of Good Government

Photo - 18 Richmond TerraceWelcome to the website of the Supreme Court of New York, Richmond County. The courthouse was opened on November 3, 1919. Today the courthouse is located in three buildings serving almost 500,000 people in Richmond County.

Three buildings, each with a spectacular view of the lower Manhattan skyline, make up the Richmond Supreme Court. The main building at 18 Richmond Terrace houses the office of the Administrative Judge, Hon. Philip G. Minardo, as well as criminal and some of the civil parts of Supreme Court. The Richmond Surrogate Court is also located at 18 Richmond Terrace. Located at 130 Stuyvesant Place are the chambers of Justice William Mastro of the Appellate Division 2nd Department. The Supreme Court Law Library and Law Department and the civil term office are located there. Our third location is the Homeport at 355 Front St., which houses 6 additional civil parts, including two parts dedicated to matrimonial cases.
