We welcome you to the Sullivan County jury system. Jury service
is a duty, a privilege, and a right guaranteed by the Constitutions
of the United States and the State of New York.
The Commissioner of Jurors in each county is responsible for
providing State Supreme, County, Surrogate and various cities,
towns and village Justice Courts with qualified jurors and the
management of a variety of functions related to discharging
this responsibility.
We recognize jury service can be burdensome, as it may interrupt
your personal and business lives. Please be assured that we
will work within our limits of the law to accommodate varying
needs, while still ensuring the availability of jurors for jury
trials.
Our goal is to make jury service as convenient, informative,
and rewarding as possible. Thank you for your time and commitment
to the New York State Justice System.
