From the South: Take the New York State Thruway to Exit 23, I-787 North. Exit at Route 20 West (the third exit once you get onto I-787). Turn Right onto Broadway. Turn Left onto State Street. Go straight up State Street for three blocks. Turn right onto Eagle Street. City Hall is on the second block on your right hand side.

From the North: Take the Adirondack Northway (Route I-87) to Exit 1, (I-90 East). Take I-90 East to the Exit for I-787 South. Exit at Clinton Avenue (Route 9), and turn Left onto South Pearl Street. Turn right onto State Street. Go straight on State Street for two blocks. Make a right onto Eagle Street. City Hall is on the second block on your right hand side - enter the building from Eagle Street.

From the East: Take I-90 West to I-787 South. Exit at Clinton Avenue (Route 9), and turn Left onto South Pearl Street. Turn right onto State Street. Go straight on State Street for two blocks. Make a right onto Eagle Street. City Hall is on the second block on your right hand side. Enter the building from Eagle Street.

From the West: Take the New York State Thruway to Exit 24. Take I-90 East to I-787 South. Exit at Clinton Avenue (Route 9), and turn Left onto South Pearl Street. Turn right onto State Street. Go straight on State Street for two blocks. Enter the building from Eagle Street. Make a right onto Eagle Street. City Hall is on the second block on your right hand side.

Parking: The easiest place to park to get to City Hall is in the Crowne Plaza Hotel Parking Garage. The parking garage is on Pine street which is one block south of State Street. If you are entering Albany from the North, East or West you will turn right onto Pine Street and then turn left into the parking garage. If you enter Albany from the South, stay on Broadway until Pine Street, turn left onto Pine Street and then left into the garage.
