WELCOME: We welcome you to the Schoharie County jury system. Jury service is a duty, a privilege, and a right guaranteed by the Constitutions of the United States and the State of New York. Your participation in the jury process helps to insure the individual rights of each citizen.

The Commissioner of Jurors in each county is responsible for providing State Supreme, County, Surrogate and various cities, towns and village Justice Courts with qualified jurors and the management of a variety of functions related to discharging this responsibility.

We know that jury service can be burdensome as it may interrupt your personal and business lives, but we will do our best to accommodate your varying needs. Our goal is to make your service as a juror a rewarding and memorable experience.
