in Albany County, trial jurors may be asked to report to the
Albany County Courthouse, Albany Judicial Center, Albany City-Civil/Traffic Parts or
Albany City-Criminal Part. The recorded message or the instructions
posted on the website will instruct jurors where they are asked
to report.

From the South: Take the New York State Thruway to
Exit 23, I-787 North. Exit at Route 20 West (the third exit
once you get onto I-787). Turn Right onto Broadway. Turn Left
onto State Street. Go straight up State Street for three blocks.
Turn right onto Eagle Street. The Courthouse is on the third
block on your right hand side.
From the North: Take the Adirondack Northway (Route
I-87) to Exit 1, (I-90 East). Take I-90 East to the Exit for
I-787 South. Exit at Clinton Avenue (Route 9), and turn Left
onto South Pearl Street. Turn right onto State Street. Go straight
on State Street for two blocks. Make a right onto Eagle Street.
The Courthouse is on the third block on your right hand side
- enter the building from Eagle Street.
From the East: Take I-90 West to I-787 South. Exit
at Clinton Avenue (Route 9), and turn Left onto South Pearl
Street. Turn right onto State Street. Go straight on State Street
for two blocks. Make a right onto Eagle Street. The Courthouse
is on the third block on your right hand side. Enter the building
from Eagle Street.
From the West: Take the New York State Thruway to Exit
24. Take I-90 East to I-787 South. Exit at Clinton Avenue (Route
9), and turn Left onto South Pearl Street. Turn right onto State
Street. Go straight on State Street for two blocks. Enter the
building from Eagle Street. Make a right onto Eagle Street.
The Courthouse is on the third block on your right hand side.

Parking:
The Crowne Plaza Hotel Parking Garage offers jurors discounted
parking. The parking garage entrance is on Pine street which
is one block south of State Street. If you are entering Albany
from the North, East or West you will turn right onto Pine Street
and then turn left into the parking garage. If you enter Albany
from the South, stay on Broadway until Pine Street, turn left
onto Pine Street and then left into the garage. Please bring
your parking stub with you for validation and a discounted parking
rate of $6.00 for the day.
On-street metered parking is available throughout downtown.
Some meters expire every two or four hours, depending on the
location. These meters cost .25 cents for 12 minutes of parking.
Expired meters will be ticketed. This is not recommended when
reporting for jury service- dismissal times will vary with court
activity.
On-street parking with no meters or restrictions can be located
north of Clinton Avenue. It is approximately a 5 or more blocks
walk to the courthouse.
Handicap parking is available in the front (Eagle Street) and
back (Lodge Street) entrances of the County Courthouse. This
is also metered parking. The Crowne Plaza has several handicap
spaces available on a first come, first serve basis.
Bus service is available from several locations throughout the
county to downtown Albany. Jurors are encouraged to utilize
CDTA bus service or their "Park and Ride" system.
This system entails driving to any location where a CDTA bus
can be boarded and parking your car safely without getting ticketed
or towed: there is no designated juror bus. Further information
may be obtained by contacting CDTA at 482-8822 or visiting CDTA
website.

Morton Avenue & Broad Street, Albany, N.Y. 12202
From the Albany County Courthouse take Eagle Street to State
Street. Turn LEFT onto State Street and at second light take
a RIGHT onto South Pearl Street (NY-32). Travel approximately
8 blocks on South Pearl Street to Morton Avenue. On your LEFT
will be the NYS Dept.of Motor Vehicles. At this intersection
take a Right onto Morton Avenue. The next intersection is Morton
and Broad Street. The Albany Public Safety Center is located
on your RIGHT.
Parking:
On-street parking is available along the streets as well as
parking at the New York State Dept. of Motor Vehicles (located
on South Pearl Street). Please observe the signs for areas which
prohibit parking.

Albany City
Court-Civil and Traffic Parts
Albany City Hall
24 Eagle Street, Albany, N.Y. 12207
Albany City Hall is located one block south of the Albany County
Courthouse on Eagle and Pine Street. Civil Court is located
on the second floor Room 209 and Traffic Court is located in
the basement.
Parking: There is parking available
in front of City Hall limited to one hour only. While participating
for jury service, this is not recommended and the parking options
listed above for the County Courthouse should be utilized.
