From East to Syracuse:
Follow Thruway West to Exit 36.

Follow signs at Exit 36 connecting to Route 81 South.

Use Exit 18 at Harrison and Adams Street, use right lane down ramp for Harrison Street.

Follow Harrison Street (one-way, four lanes) to the second traffic light at State Street.

From West to Syracuse:
Follow Thruway East to Exit 36.

Follow signs at Exit 36 connecting to Route 81 South.

Use Exit 18 at Harrison and Adams Street, use right lane down ramp for Harrison Street.

Follow Harrison Street (one-way, four lanes) to the second traffic light at State Street.

From North to Syracuse:
Follow Route 81 South to Exit 18 at Harrison and Adams Streets.

Use right lane down ramp for Harrison Street.

Follow Harrison Street (one-way, four lanes) to the second traffic light at State Street.

From South to Syracuse:
Follow Route 81 North to Exit 18 at Harrison and Adams Streets.

Use left lane and follow signs left to Harrison Street.

Follow Harrison Street (one-way, four lanes) to the second traffic light at State Street.

There is a public parking lot on the corner of Harrison Street and State Street.

Additional parking may be available in the OnCenter Parking Garage which is the next lot south on State Street. However, this garage closes to other than permit holders when there are large events at the OnCenter Convention Center across the street.

Meter parking is not ordinarily recommended since it is at a premium and lasts for only two hours.

After parking, walk north on State Street. You will pass the Onondaga County War Memorial on the left (marquee overhang out front).

The next building on the left is the County Office Building (the District Administrative Office is on the third floor in Room 300).

The next building north on the left is the back of the Onondaga County Courthouse.

The Onondaga County/City of Syracuse Criminal Courthouse is on the right at the end of the block at the corner of McCarthy Street and South State Street.

Continuing North on South State Street, the Syracuse State Office Building is located three traffic lights North at the corner of South State and East Washington Streets.
