General Info Parties seeking to file for a Temporary Order of Protection are referred to the Livingston County Probation Department (585-243-7190) or Chances and Changes, Inc. (585-658-3940) for assistance in the preparation of the necessary Family Offense Petition. All adjournment requests must be made in writing after consultation with all parties. Cases that are scheduled for a hearing will not be adjourned without the approval of the assigned Judge or Support Magistrate. Cases remain on the scheduled date until the Judge or Support Magistrate approves the adjournment and the Clerk's Office receives confirmation of an agreed upon date.
