There is a Pre-Warrant Hearing Program administered
by the District Attorney's Office. These cases, which
include misdemeanors, bad checks, and violations are referred
to Pre-Warrant
from the police department to determine if they can be resolved
before going through Rochester City Court and/or issuance of
a warrant. Also, there is a representative from the Center
for Dispute Settlement present for referrals from pre-warrant
for arbitration/mediation.
