DIRECTIONS TO COURTHOUSE:
FROM NEW YORK STATE THRUWAY
Continue south from last toll station to Hall Place in Yonkers.
Exit at Hall Place and make a left turn over bridge at the end of exit ramp.
Exit onto Central Park Avenue, North bound. Continue on Central Avenue to
the end of the Yonkers Raceway property which is Yonkers Avenue. Make a right
turn onto Yonkers Avenue. Yonkers Avenue will cross the Bronx River and go
under the railroad tracks. At that point, Yonkers Avenue becomes Mount Vernon
Avenue. Continue on Mount Vernon Avenue. At West Lincoln avenue, Mount Vernon
Avenue becomes Stevens Avenue. Continue on Stevens Avenue for four blocks.
You will see City Hall on your left, a parking garage on your right. On the
north side of City Hall is the Police Headquarters/City Court Building.
FROM DEEGAN EXPRESSWAY
Coming North. You will exit onto Central Avenue after passing the Hall Place
Bridge. Follow the above directions after getting onto Central Park Avenue.
FROM BRONX RIVER PARKWAY NORTH
You will exit at Oak Street in Mount Vernon. At the end of the exit, make
a right turn onto Oak Street. Oak Street ends at West Lincoln Avenue. Make
a right turn onto West Lincoln Avenue and go to the next traffic light. At
next traffic light make a left turn onto Stevens Avenue. Go four blocks on
Stevens Avenue and you will see City Hall on your left and a parking garage
on your right. The Court is in the Police Headquarters Building on the second
floor.
FROM BRONX RIVER PARKWAY SOUTH
After passing Bronxville, the Sprain Brook Parkway joins the Bronx River
Parkway. Within a quarter mile of the confluence of the two parkways, you
will pass under the Cross County Parkway. The first exit after passing under
the Cross County Parkway you will see the Bronx River Road exit, at traffic
light, make a left turn onto Bronx River Road and go south for two more traffic
lights, make a left turn onto Yonkers Avenue crossing over the Bronx River
and then under the railroad tracks. Yonkers Avenue becomes Mount Vernon Avenue.
At West Lincoln Avenue it becomes Stevens Avenue. Go four blocks on Stevens
and you will see City Hall on your left and a parking garage on your right.
The Court is located in the Police Headquarters Building on the second floor.
FROM HUTCHINSON RIVER PARKWAY SOUTH
At Mount Vernon the Hutchinson River Parkway splits. One side is the Cross
County Parkway, the other side is the continuation of the Hutch. Stay on
the Hutch. After passing that point on the parkway the next exit #12 says
East Lincoln Avenue. Get off there and make a left turn onto East Lincoln
Avenue. Go approximately 2 miles to Gramatan Avenue. You will know your at
Gramatan Avenue because there is a park, Hartley Park, on your left. The
west end of the park borders on Gramatan Avenue. Make a left turn onto Gramatan
avenue and go down three additional traffic lights to Prospect Street and
make a right turn. At the end of the first block you are looking at City
Hall in front of you and the Police Headquarters building is on your right.
We are on the second floor.
FROM HUTCHINSON RIVER PARKWAY NORTH
You can get on the Hutch from either the Whitestone Bridge or the Throgs
Neck Bridge. Go north on the Hutch till exit 12. Get off and make a left
turn onto East Lincoln Avenue. Go to Gramatan Avenue. Make a left on Gramatan
Avenue (follow above). After crossing Throgs Neck Bridge you can get onto
the Cross Bronx Expressway. Go approximately two miles on the Cross Bronx
to Rosedale Avenue exit. Get off at Rosedale. Crossover the intersection
and about 100 feet after the gas station is an entrance ramp to the Bronx
River Parkway North. Go to Oak Street exit in Mount Vernon.
