Biography of Justice Herman Cahn

A graduate of the College of the City of New York and Harvard Law School, JUSTICE HERMAN CAHN practiced law in Manhattan before being elected to the Civil Court of the City of New York in 1977.  Justice Cahn served as an Acting Justice of the Supreme Court from 1980 to 1992 and in 1992 was elected to the Supreme Court.  Justice Cahn has headed a Commercial Part since the inception of those Parts in 1993.
