New York City Family Court is sponsoring a Child Support and Paternity information session on Wednesday, Mar. 7, 2007 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the New York County Family Court 60 Lafayette Street New York, NY 10013 4th Floor.
The presentation is intended to assist self-represented litigants involved in paternity or support proceedings in the NYC Family Court by providing useful information about the law and court procedures related to these types of cases, but is open to anyone interested in learning about these topics. |

New York County Family Court will operate Night Court on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Parties may file new and supplemental petitions for the following case types: Family Offense, Custody/Visitation, Guardianship and Paternity/Support. |

The NYC Bar Association releases an updated Introductory Guide to the NYC Family Court. |
| Summer '05: |
The Family Justice Center opened in Brooklyn. The center will allow victims of domestic violence to access comprehensive services more easily by placing dedicated domestic violence prosecutors and service providers in the same location.
The center is one of 15 models created nationally to establish best practices and reduce domestic violence in the United States. |
