PART RULES

Check In:
Upon entering the part, all litigants and attorneys are to check in with the Clerk or Court Officer.

Discontinuances & Adjournments:
Any request for an adjournment or discontinuance shall be reviewed by the Court Attorney, Judge or Court Clerk.

Conferences:
Where a party requests a conference by the Judge, all parties and attorneys shall remain in the part unless otherwise directed by the Court.

Stipulations:
Proposed stipulations shall be submitted to the Clerk or Court Officer for review by the Court Attorney and/or Judge. Pending review by the Court Attorney or Judge, the parties shall remain available or be subject to default, or an adjournment of the case, at the court's discretion.

Defaults:
9:30 a.m. Calendar:
(a) There will be a calendar call at 11:00 a.m. of all cases scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Dismissals and defaults will be taken at that time.
(b) All cases not previously disposed of will be called at 12:30 p.m. Dismissals and defaults may be taken or adjournments granted on this call at the court's discretion, whether or not the parties have previously checked in with the clerk.

2:00 p.m. Calendar:
(c) Applications for defaults of cases on the 2:00 p.m. calendar will be entered at 3:00 p.m.

Trials/Hearings:
(d) Parties and attorneys in cases scheduled for trial or hearing are expected to arrive in the Part promptly at the assigned time. Dismissals and defaults in cases scheduled for trial or hearing will be taken 30 minutes after the scheduled time.
