RESOLUTION PART RULES

1. Calendar calls

(a) All parties and attorneys must check in with the clerk upon arrival in the Part. There will be a calendar call of all cases in which both parties have not previously checked in at 11:00 am. Dismissals and defaults will be taken on this calendar call.

(b) All cases not previously disposed of will be called at 12:30 pm. Dismissals and defaults may be taken or adjournments granted on this call at the court's discretion, whether or not the parties have previously checked in with the clerk.

2. Conferences

Cases will be called for conference when all parties are present in the courtroom and ready to proceed. Any party may request a conference with the court or with the court attorney by notifying the clerk. Parties and attorneys who have requested a conference are expected to remain in the courtroom until the case is called.

3. Stipulations

Prosposed stipulations of settlement must be submitted to the clerk for review by the court. Parties must remain in the courthouse until a proposed stipulation has been reviewed and approved. Failure to remain until a stipulation has been reviewed and approved may result in a dismissal or default or in an adjournment of the case, at the court's discretion.

4. Trials/Hearings

Parties and attorneys in cases scheduled for trial or hearing are expected to arrive in the part promptly at the assigned time. Dismissals and defaults in cases schedule for trial or hearing will be taken 15 minutes after the scheduled time.
