RESOLUTION PART RULES

1. Check In
Upon arrival in the courtroom, all parties must check in with the Clerk or Court Officer. After checking in parties must remain available and/or accessible for resolution of the matter within the default deadline or the proceeding shall be dismissed, defaulted or adjourned at the Court's discretion.
2. Defaults
Parties scheduled to appear at 9:30 a.m. will be held in default upon failure to appear by 10:45 a.m. Parties scheduled for a trial or hearing at 9:30 a.m. will be held in default upon failure to be ready to proceed or upon failure to appear by 10:00 a.m. Parties scheduled to appear at 11:00 a.m. will be held in default upon failure to appear by 12:00 p.m. Parties scheduled to appear at 2:00 p.m. will be held in default upon failure to appear by 3:00 p.m.
3. Discontinuances & Adjournments
All requests for discontinuances or adjournments must be made on the return date and must be reviewed by the judge or a court attorney; the parties should not leave until after such review. Where possible, the requests should be reduced to a writing, preferably in the form of a stipulation signed by the parties, and should give a reason for the discontinuance or adjournment.
4. Stipulations
All stipulations shall be submitted for review by the judge or a court attorney. The parties must remain available for such review.
5. Conferences
In those cases where the parties are unable or unwilling to reach a settlement agreement, the matter shall be submitted promptly for review by the judge or a court attorney. Both sides shall remain available for the case to be called.
6. COURT ROOM DECORUM
There shall be no talking, eating, reading or urse of any electronic devices in the courtroom.
