TRIAL PART RULES

1. This a trial part pursuant to the Housing Court Initiative. Parties assigned to this part are presumed ready for trial with all necessary documents and witnesses available.

2. Cases shall be tried from day-to-day unless good cause is shown to adjourn the matter to non-consecutive dates.

3. If a trial is continued or adjourned for any reason, defaults or dismissals will be taken if a party has not appeared within 30 minutes of the scheduled time.

4. Orders to Show Cause are returnable at 9:30 am. Defaults, dismissals and/or inquests on alleged illegal lockouts will be determined at 10:15 am.
