CHECK IN PROCEDURE
All parties must check in with the court clerk or court officer. Parties shall indicate to the court clerk or court officer the calendar number of their case as it appears on the wall outside the courtroom.
When a party is represented by counsel, only counsel may argue or conference a case.
DEFAULTS
Parties scheduled to appear at 9:30 a.m. will be held in default upon failure to appear by 11:00 a.m.
Parties scheduled to appear at 11:00 a.m. will be held in default upon failure to appear by 12 noon.
Parties scheduled to appear at 2:00 p.m. will be held in default upon failure to appear by 3:00 p.m.
If a party appears timely, but leaves and does not reappear within 30 minutes of the default period, the court may enter a default, or adjourn the case at the discretion of the court.
Defaults in holdover proceedings must be scheduled for inquest. Nonmilitary affidavits are required for all inquests.
ADJOURNMENTS
Adjournments may be granted upon approval of the court for good cause.
STIPULATIONS
Proposed stipulations of settlement must be submitted to the court clerk or court officer for review by the court attorney and/or Judge.
MOTIONS
The court requires oral argument on all motions.
