1. All litigants and attorneys are required to check in with the Court Officer/Clerk before the default calendar call and provide the calendar number of the case which is on the calendar posted in the display case outside the courtroom.

2. There will be a default calendar call at 10:30AM. Requests to vacate calendar defaults will be heard only if all parties are present.

3. All notices of appearance, withdrawals, substitutions or discharges must be submitted in proper form. Attorneys are obligated to ensure that a current notice of appearance is on file with the court.

4. All requests for adjournments and discontinuances must be submitted to the Court Attorney or the Judge for review. The reason for the request must also be stated.

5. Cases must be conferenced with the HPD staff; the court attorney’s assistance may also be requested. If no resolution is reached, any party may request a conference with the judge. All parties must remain in the courtroom and be available for the conference.

6. Proposed stipulations of settlement and consent order to correct must be legible and shall be submitted to the Court Officer or Clerk for review by the Court Attorney or the Judge. All stipulations and orders to correct must have access dates and indicate that workers must arrive no later than noon, and include a completion date for the repairs.

7. 9:30AM cases - if petitioner does not check in by the time of the default calendar call the case may be dismissed. If respondent fails to check in by the time of the default calendar call an order may be entered after an inquest is held. If a party checks in and fails to return by noon, the other side may request that Clerk put the case before the Judge for a default, dismissal or adjournment in the discretion of the Court.

8. 2:15 pm trials/hearings - if a party fails to appear by 3:00 pm, the Court in its discretion may
Conduct an inquest, dismiss or adjourn the matter.
