TRIAL PART RULES

1. All parties or their attorneys are to check in with the court officer upon arrival.

2. Calendar calls will be held at 9:45 am for cases scheduled for trial or hearing. A second call shall be held at 11:00 am for motions and any other matter pending before the Court.

3. Applications for adjournments on cases from the expediter will be referred back to the resolution part from which the matter was transferred.

4. Cases referred by the expediter for trial shall be held for twenty minutes to allow the parties and their attorneys time to appear prepared to proceed. The court will dispose of those cases, in a manner deemed appropriate, where a party has failed to appear.

5. Applications for adjournments will be heard immediately following the calendar calls.

6. On nonpayment proceedings in which a respondent has defaulted, attorneys or pro se petitioners are required to inform the Court of the status of the default and if the amounts alleged remain unpaid.
