TRIAL PART RULES

HON. PAUL L. ALPERT

1) All parties or their counsel must check in with the court officer or clerk upon entering the Part.

(2) There will be no calendar or roll call.

(3) All litigants or their counsel should then check in with the Court Officer. All litigants will conference the case with the Court Attorney assigned to the part. If the Court Attorney cannot resolve the case, the Court will commence the trail immediately.

(4) The Court does not accept adjournments over the phone. All requests for adjournments will be dealt with by the Court. Stipulations for adjournments will not be accepted unless a party or counsel is present in Court
