Bronx Civil

The Building opens 8:30 am, M-F, for litigants to go through magnetometers.

Courtrooms generally open 9:30 am - 4:30 pm, M-F, and are closed 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm. The first call of the morning calendar is usually 9:30 am, but you must check your court papers for locations and times.

The General Clerk’s Office is open 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, M-F.

Small Claims offices are open 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, M,T,W, and F., and open 9:00 am - 8:00 pm on Thursday only. The Small Claims Cashier closes at 4:00 pm, M,T,W, and F and at 7:30 pm on Thursdays only.

Thursday Evening Small Claims Courtroom hours are 5:00 pm until 12:00 am. Calendar call starts at 6:30 pm.

Bronx Housing

The Building opens 8:30 am and closes at 3:45 PM (until 5:00 pm for emergency applications), M-F, for litigants to go through magnetometers.

Landlord/Tenant offices general hours are 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, M,T,W and F, 8:30 am - 7:00 pm, Thursdays, with some exceptions for Interpreters, Answers and Orders To Show Cause.

Windows for Interpreters, Answers and Orders To Show Cause are open 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, M,T,W and F, and until 7:00 pm, Thursdays.

The HP (“Housing Part” tenant-initiated cases) window opens 9:00 am - 3:30 pm, M-F, and is closed 1:00pm - 2:00 pm, M-F.

The Help Center is open from 9:15 am - 4:00 pm, M,T,W and F, and 9:30 am - 7:00 pm on Thursdays. The Help Center closes 1:00 pm - 2:15 pm, M-F.

The Childcare Center is closed until further notice. (Due to budget cuts.)

Harlem
