Special mention should be made of the Court of Appeals Staff, who provide excellent support to the Court. They, along with the Judges' personal law clerks and secretaries, keep New York State's highest tribunal functioning twelve months a year. The dedication and commitment of the entire Court Staff are "evident in the maintenance of Court of Appeals Hall, in dealing with the bar and public, and in innumerable other essential steps in the consideration and resolution of matters before the Court." - Chief Judge Judith S. Kaye (Foreword to Court of Appeals 1993 Annual Report)
