DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF WORK: |
Under supervision, Senior Court Interpreters are responsible for supervisingand coordinating the activities of court interpreters and for evaluatingtheir performance. Senior Court Interpreters also interpret between Englishand another language, perform clerical and administrative tasks, and otherrelated duties.
TYPICAL DUTIES: |
Plans and coordinates work schedules; trains subordinate staff and per Evaluates court interpreters` language proficiency and overall performance Reviews and resolves problems concerning the fair and efficient delivery Assists in the selection of court interpreters; provides court interpreters Provides information to court administrators to assist in further developing Interprets verbatim between English and another language in formal and Translates official, technical, medical and legal documents, certificates, Reviews time sheets and maintains related records.
