First Department First Ever All-Latino Panel

For the first time in the history of the Appellate Division, First Department, oral arguments took place before an all-Latino panel on Dec. 9, 2021.

After the court’s five justices took the bench, Presiding Justice Rolando Acosta noted the historical significance of the moment.
