The Franklin H. Williams Judicial Commission hosted a virtual Law Day program highlighting this year’s theme: Toward a More Perfect Union: The Constitution in Times of Change, featuring law students: Gehad Abdelrehim, City University of New York Law School; Shiddhartha Uddin, Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University; Shanell Blanchard and Joel Ferreira, Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. The discussion was co-moderated by Hon. Ulysses Leverett and Hon. Helen Voutsinas. Hon. Cheryl Joseph and Professor Chaumtoli Huq provided inspirational remarks. The Commission’s Legal Fellows also reflected on how the Law Day theme applies to their fellowship experience. LINK:
