The New York State Permanent Judicial Commission on Justice for Children, in partnership with the New York University Metropolitan Center for Research on Equity and the Transformation of Schools, convened the Girls’ Justice: A Conference for Child Welfare, School and Justice Practitioners on July 20, 2016, at the NYU Metro Center to not only raise awareness of the stark statistics and issues facing girls at risk or in the justice system but also to introduce strategies that address their gender-specific needs.

The Conference Program provides the agenda and short introductions for the speakers.
