Ronald Pawelczak started with the UCS as a Court Assistant in Rochester City Court on 12/8/1988 through 2/26/1992, he was then reassigned to Monroe Family Court as a Court Assistant on 2/27/92 through 12/28/94. eff. 12/29/1994 through 12/6/2000. Ronald was appointed as Deputy Chief Clerk of Monroe Family under Robert Norton. Upon Mr. Norton's retirement, Ronald was then appointed as the Chief Clerk effective 12/7/2000.

Ronald served in the US Army and was awarded a Merit Performance Award in May 1991, as a tribute to his service in the armed forces during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He served as a First Lieutenant and Detachment Commander of the 402nd Civil Affairs Company and was assigned during Operation Desert Storm to the First Armored Division. Ronald and his unit were responsible for coordinating plans for dealing with the refugees and prisoners of the war. He and his Unit remained in Iraq, and later moved into Kuwait, to help reestablish order and normalize life for the people of those areas. In 1998 Ronald was selected as the 7th Judicial District's "Employee of the Month" for designing and implementing the Monroe County Family Court Domestic Violence Intensive Intervention Court. Ronald's educational background: BA in Political Science from Niagara University in 1985 and a Masters of Public Administration from SUNY BRockport in 1995.
