CD-ROMs - The library receives dozens of CD-ROM titles as
addendums to a variety of textbooks and treatises. All of these
titles may be accessed on individual public access PCs in the
law library.
Online services. Public access PCs are available in the law
library with unmediated access to a wide variety of LEXIS.com
databases and the Internet. A restricted number of WESTSLAW.com
databases are also available on our public access PCs.
E Research
In addition to an array of print materials with an emphasis upon New York State law,
access to online legal databases are available in court law libraries
using designated public access computer terminals.

Wireless Network now Available
Wi-Fi -
The Queens Supreme Court Law Library at Jamaica Room 65 now provides free wireless
Internet access to library users with appropriately equipped
and configured laptop computers.
Document Delivery
Document Delivery -
Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives
are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction.

Photocopies
Copiers - Two coin-operated photocopiers
are available in the library. Copies cost fifteen cents a page.
The copy machine accepts nickels, dimes, quarters, and a copy
card. The copy card can be purchased for fifty cents from the
vendor machine located in the library. A change machine is
also locate in the library.
Microfilm/Microfiche - the New York Law
Journal, Records and Briefs for the Appellate Division
1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th Departments, and Records and Briefs
for the New York Court of Appeals
Reader/Printer - The library has two machines
to view microforms. Both machines are digital. Printing is
free. The reader/printer is equipped with a scanner so articles
can be sent via e-mail. |
