ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE

Application by the appellant pursuant to 22 NYCRR 670.8(d)(2) to enlarge the time to perfect an appeal from an order of the Supreme Court, Queens County, dated June 27, 2005.

On the court's own motion, it is

ORDERED that the appellant is directed to show cause before this court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the above-entitled appeal as abandoned by filing an affidavit on that issue with the Clerk of this court on or before March 10, 2006; and it is further,

ORDERED that the application to enlarge time is held in abeyance in the interim; and it is further,

ORDERED that on or before February 24, 2006, Falk & Klebanoff, P.C., is directed to serve its client by one of the methods specified in CPLR 2103(c), with a copy of this order to show cause and shall file proof of such service with the Clerk of this court.
