Motion by the People to dismiss an appeal from a judgment of the County Court, Nassau County, rendered May 23, 2001, on the ground that the appellant has been deported.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is granted, and the appeal is dismissed (see People v Ragsdale, 144 AD2d 708).
