Motion by the additional respondent American Transit Insurance Company to dismiss appeals from two orders of the Supreme Court, Kings County, dated May 13, 2005, and October 7, 2005, respectively, on the ground that the appeals have been rendered academic. Application by the additional respondent American Transit Insurance Company to enlarge the time to serve and file a brief.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and application and the papers filed in opposition or relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is granted and the appeals are dismissed, without costs or disbursements; and it is further,
ORDERED that the application is denied as academic.
