DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Appeals by the defendant from two judgments of the County Court, Orange County, both rendered May 18, 2000. By order to show cause dated April 27, 2006, as amended May 8, 2006, the appellant was directed to show cause before this court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the appeals as abandoned.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in opposition or relation to the order to show cause, it is

ORDERED that the order to show cause is granted, and the appeal is dismissed (see 22 NYCRR 670.8[f]).
