DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by the respondent to strike the appellant's brief on appeals from four judgments of the County Court, Rockland County, all rendered February 25, 1998.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is granted to the extent that on or before August 2, 2006, the appellant is directed to either redact the name of the confidential informant from the copies of the brief on file with the Clerk of the court or serve and file a replacement brief that does not contain the name of the confidential informant, and the motion is otherwise denied; and it is further,

ORDERED that on the court's own motion, the respondent's time to serve and file a brief is enlarged until September 5, 2006, and the respondent's brief must be served and filed on or before that date.
