DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Appeal by Syline Boone from a judgment of the County Court, Orange County, rendered November 18, 1999. The appeal has not been perfected. By order to show cause dated June 29, 2006, the appellant was directed to show cause before this court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the appeal as abandoned (see CPL 460.70[2][c]; 22 NYCRR 670.8[f]).

On the court's own motion and no papers having been filed in response to the order to show cause, it is

ORDERED that the appeal is dismissed.
