DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by the appellant, in effect, to stay all proceedings in the above-entitled matter pending hearing and determination of an appeal from an order of the Family Court, Orange County, entered November 22, 2005.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is granted to the extent that finalization of the adoption is stayed pending hearing and determination of the appeal, and the motion is otherwise denied.
