DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by the defendant pursuant to CPL 530.45 to be released on his own recognizance, or, in the alternative, to fix bail after his conviction in the Supreme Court, Kings County, upon a jury verdict, on June 26, 2006, of the crimes of scheme to defraud in the first degree, attempted grand larceny in the fourth degree, criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree, criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree, criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree (93 counts), and criminal possession of forgery devices in the fourth degree. The trial court remanded the defendant pending the imposition of sentence.

Upon the papers filed in support of and in opposition to the motion, and upon hearing the attorneys for the respective parties, it is

ORDERED that the motion is denied.
