DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Appeal by Antonia Bourgeois from an order of the Family Court, Queens County, dated November 14, 2005. By order to show cause dated August 23, 2006, the appellant was directed to show cause before this court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the appeal as abandoned.

Now upon the order to show cause and the papers filed in response thereto, it is

ORDERED that the appeal is dismissed, without costs or disbursements, as abandoned (see 22 NYCRR 670.8[e]).
