Appeals by certain plaintiffs from an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County, dated June 28, 2006.
Now, on the court's own motion, it is
ORDERED that the parties or their attorneys are directed to show cause before this court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the appeal on the ground that the order is not appealable (see CPLR 5701; 5704), by filing an affirmation or affidavit on that issue with the Clerk of this court on or before September 29, 2006; and it is further,
ORDERED that the Clerk of this court, or his designee, is directed to serve a copy of this order to show cause on the parties or their attorneys by regular mail.
