DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by the appellant, pursuant to CPL 460.20, for a certificate granting leave to appeal to the Court of Appeals from a decision and order of this court dated July 11, 2006, which denied an application for a writ of error coram nobis to vacate, on the ground of ineffective assistance of counsel, a decision and order of this court dated October 18, 1993 (People v Bowens, 197 AD2d 628) affirming a judgment of the County Court, Nassau County, rendered January 7, 1992.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is,

ORDERED that the motion is denied.
