2003-05744 In the Matter of Amos Weinberg, a suspended attorney. (Attorney Registration No. 1622018)
| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION FOR REINSTATEMENT |
Motion by the respondent for reinstatement as an attorney and counselor-at-law. The respondent was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on May 24, 1978. By opinion and order of this court dated October 31, 2005, the respondent was suspended from the practice of law for a period of one year, commencing November 30, 2005, as a result of a disciplinary proceeding in which the court sustained Charges One, Three (in part), and Four through Eight. The charges involved neglect, failure to properly preserve funds entrusted to respondent in escrow, conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice, and conduct adversely reflecting on his fitness as a lawyer.
Upon the papers submitted in support of the motion and the papers submitted in response thereto, it is
ORDERED that, effective November 30, 2006, the respondent, Amos Weinberg, is reinstated as an attorney and counselor-at-law and the Clerk of the Court is directed to restore the name of Amos Weinberg to the roll of attorneys and counselors-at-law, effective November 30, 2006.
