DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by the appellant on an appeal from an order of the Supreme Court, Nassau County, dated July 25, 2006, inter alia, to stay all proceedings to evict her from the subject premises pending the hearing and determination of the appeal, and for leave to prosecute the appeal as a poor person.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is
