In the Matter of Isaac Eduardo I. (Anonymous). St. Vincent's Services, respondent; Elizabeth I. (Anonymous), appellant. (Docket No. B-20309/04)
| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Motion by counsel for the appellant to be relieved of an assignment to represent the appellant on an appeal from an order of the Family Court, Kings County, dated April 17, 2006, in effect, on the ground that the appellant has abandoned the appeal. By order to show cause dated November 1, 2006, the motion was held in abeyance and the parties or their attorneys were directed to show cause why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the appeal in the above-entitled proceeding as abandoned.
Now on the court's own motion, and no papers having been the papers filed in opposition or relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is granted, and counsel is relieved of the assignment; and it is further,
ORDERED that the appeal is dismissed as abandoned, without costs or disbursements.
MASTRO, J.P., RIVERA, FISHER and DILLON, JJ., concur.
