DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Appeals by Linda F. from four orders of the Family Court, Kings County, all dated January 6, 2006 (one in each proceeding). Motion by Leslie Spitz, Esq., Law Guardian assigned to represent the children Natasha Lashae F. and Shakaya Lashae F. on appeals pending under Appellate Division Docket Nos. 2006-01979 and 2006-01984, to be relieved, and, in effect, for the assignment of a new Law Guardian.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in opposition or relation thereto, it is

ORDERED that on the court's own motion, the appeal from the order pertaining to the child Natasha Lashae F. (Appellate Division Docket No. 2006-01979) is dismissed as academic, without costs or disbursements, since she has reached the age of majority (see Matter of Winston Lloyd D. (Anonymous), 7 AD3d 706); and it is further,

ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to be relieved of the assignment of representing the child Natasha Lashae F., and, in effect, for the assignment of a new Law Guardian is denied as academic; and it is further,

ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to be relieved of the assignment of representing the child Shakaya Lashae F. on the appeal pending under Appellate Division Docket No. 2006-01984, and, in effect, for the assignment of a new Law Guardian is granted, and Leslie Spitz, Esq., 249 Smith Street, No. 121, Brooklyn, New York, is directed to turn over all papers in the matter to the new Law Guardian, herein assigned; and it is further,

ORDERED that pursuant to Family Court Act § 1120, the following named attorney is assigned as Law Guardian to represent the child Shakaya Lashae F.:
