Appeal by Winston D. Sutherland from a judgment of the County Court, Orange County, rendered November 4, 1992. The appeal has not been perfected. By order to show cause dated March 8, 2006, the appellant was directed to show cause before this court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the appeal as abandoned (see CPL 460.70[2][c]; 22 NYCRR 670.8[f]).
Upon the court's own motion, and no papers having been filed in opposition to the order to show cause, it is
ORDERED that the appeal is dismissed.
