DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Separate appeals by Kwame M. and Osma P. from an order of the Family Court, Queens County, dated November 28, 2006. By order to show cause dated March 26, 2007, the parties or their attorneys were directed to show cause why an order should or should not be made and entered relieving the attorney assigned by order on certification dated February 1, 2007, to perfect the appeal on behalf of the appellant on the ground that the attorney has been unable to contact the appellant, and dismissing the appeal.

On the court's own motion, and the papers filed in opposition or relation thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is denied; and it is further,

ORDERED that the appellant's time to comply with the scheduling order dated February 1, 2007, is enlarged until May 17, 2007.
